Your Workplace You will work as a psychologist or psychotherapist at a clinic characterized by teamwork, good communication, and high competence. As we enter an exciting development phase with, among other things, a broader mandate, more comprehensive diagnostics and follow-up – and an exciting development plan extending through 2040 – we need your contribution. At the psychiatric outpatient clinic in Säffle/Grums, psychologists, nurses, physicians, social workers, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, and care administrators work together. There are excellent conditions for team collaboration in assessment, investigation, and treatment, but we need an additional psychologist or psychotherapist so that patient care can be conducted efficiently and with high quality. We are now seeking a colleague who wants to take an active part in our outpatient work! Your Responsibilities The psychiatric outpatient care in Värmland receives patients in need of psychiatric care for all psychiatric diagnoses. As a psychologist/psychotherapist, you are an important part of the team around the patient. The clinic's mission is to assess, investigate, and treat patients with mental illness and psychological disabilities. In addition to individual treatment work, the role includes in-depth diagnostic assessment, investigation, group treatment, consultative support to colleagues, and method development. You will also contribute to the clinic's method and development work. Within the outpatient care area, inspiring development work is ongoing, and we are seeking you to help us with this. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are seeking you who are a licensed psychologist or licensed psychotherapist. Experience working in psychiatric care is an advantage. We would like to see that you have psychotherapy training and several years of experience in clinical work, but we also welcome those who have recently completed your clinical psychology internship. You may currently work in general psychiatry, but we are also interested in those who have a special interest in certain patient groups or areas such as psychosis care, neuropsychiatric care, substance abuse care, affective care, or with specific treatment methods. Opportunities for further education are available. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. You have good collaboration skills while being able to work independently. You are engaged in operational development and contribute to ensuring that work is conducted efficiently and with high quality. Furthermore, you have a strong patient focus and a solution-oriented approach to your work. Since travel is part of the position, a Class B driver's license is required.
