About the Position As a psychologist/psychotherapist at the Eating Disorder Psychiatric Clinic, you will have varied work tasks. It is independent work where you have the team's support. In this independent role, you have great opportunities to direct and plan your own workday. The clinic serves patients of all ages with eating disorders. Staff are divided into a pediatric team and an adult team, but we collaborate and support each other across the entire clinic. You will primarily work in the adult team, providing treatment using the CBT-E method in individual therapy and possibly day care services. You will serve as the primary contact for a portion of the clinic's patients, maintaining individual relationships with them. Part of your work will also involve collaborating with other agencies such as municipalities, insurance offices, and employment services. Since we also offer patients digital visits, there is the possibility to work part of your time from home by arrangement with your manager. About Us The Psychiatry Division at Södra Älvsborgs Hospital consists of several outpatient clinics, emergency departments, and inpatient care units. The Eating Disorder Psychiatric Clinic is an outpatient clinic located in Borås with the primary mission of serving patients, both adults and children, with eating disorder issues. The clinic has approximately eighteen employees. The work is characterized by collaboration in an interdisciplinary team including dietitians, physiotherapists, physicians, secretaries, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologists, psychotherapists, and a unit manager. The team consistently demonstrates high competence, with many staff members being specialists with years of experience. The group is characterized by collegial support, commitment to tasks, ambition to develop and grow, and humor. Your Profile We are looking for you if you are a licensed psychologist or licensed psychotherapist with experience in psychiatric specialized care. We actively work to digitalize more processes.
