Description Our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry unit, BUP Hisingen, is part of the Department of Neurology and Child Psychiatry at Area 1, Sahlgrenska University Hospital. We are a well-functioning outpatient clinic with specialist services, dedicated to treating children and adolescents ages 0-18 with serious mental health conditions. We currently have approximately 1,700 enrolled patients. Our team consists of approximately 25-30 employees, including specialist physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and administrative staff. We also have medical residents, psychology trainees, and clinical placement students working at our clinic during various periods. We place great value on camaraderie, professionalism, and a service-oriented attitude as important aspects of our shared work environment. Our facilities are located near Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen, with excellent transportation connections to and from the entire Gothenburg area. Responsibilities As a psychologist at BUP, you will make a difference in young people's lives by providing professional and empathetic psychological treatment. Your work will include: Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations of children and adolescents. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Providing specialist-level treatment to children and adolescents to alleviate severe mental health conditions. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as physicians, social workers, nurses, and administrators to create a comprehensive view of the patient's situation. Participating in patient planning and contributing your specialist expertise to improve quality of care.
