About the Operation Psychologist for Healthcare Center Avesta - with assignment in the southern primary care area Would you like to work in a role where you combine clinical work with consultation, development, and collaboration? We are now seeking a licensed psychologist for Healthcare Center Avesta with an assignment that includes close cooperation between our three healthcare centers in the southern area: Healthcare Center Avesta, Healthcare Center Hedemora, and Healthcare Center Långshyttan. This is a position for you if you thrive working independently, appreciate close collaboration with other professionals, and want to help develop psychological expertise within primary care. Responsibilities As a psychologist, you will play a central role in supporting both patients and staff. You will work with assessment and treatment of patients with more complex issues, particularly cases that fall between primary care and specialist psychiatry. The role involves close collaboration with physicians and counselors and active participation in assessments regarding appropriate level of care. You will also: conduct psychological assessments and testing, including as support for work capacity evaluations and to further clarify patients' issues, serve as a consultative resource for the healthcare centers' counselors in complex patient cases, participate in and lead regular meetings with counselors focusing on clinical discussions, supervision, and quality development, contribute to developing approaches and ensuring high quality in psychological treatment services within primary care. Work will be conducted across all three healthcare centers in the area. Qualifications Requirements: We are seeking a licensed psychologist with an interest in primary care and collaboration between different levels of care. Meritorious: Experience from adult psychiatry Personal Qualities: An understanding of psychiatry's and primary care's mission and working methods is valuable, as the position involves regular contact with specialist psychiatry and assessments of which patients are best served at each level of care. You have good collaboration skills, are confident in your profession, and appreciate being a support for colleagues while driving your own work forward.
