About Us Närhälsan Munkedal Health Center is a well-established health center serving approximately 9,000 registered patients. We have a specialized unit for youth with mental health issues (UPH), where a dedicated team consisting of a psychologist, psychotherapist, and social worker work with children and adolescents aged 6-18 years. At the health center, we also employ six district physicians, four training physicians, two licensed physicians, nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, a rehabilitation coordinator, care coordinator, medical secretaries, a foot care specialist, and a psychologist. In the same building, we also have Närhälsan's rehabilitation clinic and youth clinic, with which we collaborate closely. Our child health center (BVC) is located at the family center. You are welcome to read more about the benefits we offer at Närhälsan: Link to our website About the Position Youth Mental Health (UPH) has the mission to offer children, adolescents, and their guardians with mental health issues early and appropriate care. As a psychologist, you will work in close collaboration with other primary care staff. You will assess, diagnose, and treat children and adolescents with mental health issues and consider the importance of psychosocial factors, based on which you will propose and implement appropriate interventions. You will collaborate with other actors such as schools and social services, where you will also participate in SIP meetings. Treatment interventions for depression, anxiety, and self-harm behaviors, as well as counseling, support, and crisis conversations are part of your responsibilities. You will be an important contact for parental support both individually and in groups, and you will also conduct other group treatments such as worry management, AFFEKT, and ABC. There is also the possibility of performing some of the work remotely. About You You are a licensed psychologist with at least one year of experience working with children and adolescents with mental health issues. It is advantageous if you have experience from the following: Work as a psychologist at the primary care level Integrated behavioral health (IBH) Stepped care Internet-based psychological treatment Group treatment We are looking for someone who takes initiative and actively participates in the development of our operations.
