We provide care for youth with special care needs and admit boys sentenced to closed youth detention (LSU). Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to quality care and treatment at both individual and group levels through individual treatment sessions and supervision of treatment staff. As a psychologist at SiS Youth Detention Center Sundbo, you will work for the entire institution with treatment, assessments, screening and investigations, risk and needs assessments, consultations and case supervision, depending somewhat on your interests and aptitudes. At our facility, the psychologist has significant responsibility and influence. You will be part of the school's student health team under the direction of the principal. You contribute to the institution's professional development by continuously educating and supervising treatment staff. At Sundbo, our staff are trained in CBT, suicide prevention, and TMO, among other areas. Psychologists are responsible for training, supervision, and consultation for all departments and teachers. You will work partly in our health and medical care unit, which consists of nurses, psychologists, and a consulting physician. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed psychologist, preferably with experience working with children and adolescents. Particularly valuable are experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment activities, CBT, and teamwork.
