Region Västernorrland has been granted permission to start National Highly Specialized Care (NHV) for the group of severe eating disorders at Sundsvall Hospital. This is an entirely new form of care with both 24-hour inpatient care and a smaller outpatient component that started on December 1, 2023. NHV is directed at complex and rare care needs and is conducted at five locations in Sweden, with collaboration in research and development. The purpose of bringing this care together is to ensure high expertise across the entire multidisciplinary team and to offer high-quality care without restricting accessibility. NHV will have close collaboration with other psychiatric services within Västernorrland County and receive patients from all of Sweden. In Sundsvall, we will also offer care to elite athletes with eating disorders. We are now seeking a psychologist who is attracted to being part of building a new operation from the ground up. The position is a permanent employment, full-time, with start date by agreement. Responsibilities The responsibilities are varied and include interdisciplinary teamwork, consultation, and a significant portion of clinical work. You will be one of the team's psychologists working closely with a dietitian, physiotherapist, and physician. Team collaboration occurs on a daily basis with the department's nurses and nursing assistants. As a psychologist with us, you will work with, among other things: - In-depth psychological assessments and evaluations - Individual psychological treatment (CFT, CBT-E, RO-DBT) - Group treatment - Consultation, supervision, and collaboration You will be offered ongoing internal training and external training as needed. Qualifications We are seeking you who: - Are a licensed psychologist - Have Swedish language skills in speech and writing at a minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale, and master it in both speech and writing It is meritorious if you: - Have specialist training in psychological treatment/psychotherapy - Have experience working with patients with eating disorder issues - Have experience working with RO-DBT, CFT, and/or CBT-E - Have good English language skills in speech and writing - Have additional language skills To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities: - Personal maturity - Self-directed - Collaboration skills - Structured Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several of the activities that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
