Habilitation services are for people with permanent disabilities and their relatives. The disability may be due to mobility impairment, intellectual disability, and/or autism. Our services are aimed at children and young people up to 17 years old and are based on a multidisciplinary and family-centered approach where the family is involved in planning and evaluating interventions. At the Habilitation Center for Children and Youth in Eslöv-Lund, we have just over 30 employees within several different professions, such as psychologist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, social worker, special educator, dietitian, nurse, physician, recreation specialist, and medical secretary. Together we work with great commitment and broad expertise to provide children and young people with the best conditions to live a good life based on their own circumstances and choices. 1 position(s). DUTIES With us, you are offered a broad and varied assignment where you provide psychological support, treatment, and counseling to children, young people, and their relatives based on the consequences of the disability in everyday life. You conduct psychological assessments, offer talk therapy both individually and in groups, and participate in the center's group activities. You also contribute to educational initiatives for children and young people, caregivers, and other networks. Together with the child or young person, the family, the habilitation team, and external cooperation partners such as school, child and adolescent psychiatry, and social services, you plan interventions based on the individual's needs. Much of the contact with families takes place digitally via video visits or telephone, but physical visits also occur when needed. Work-related travel may therefore occur. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday from 08:00-16:30. Evening shifts until 18:30 are included on Mondays. Your placement is at our center in Lund. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. It is meriting if you have experience working with children and young people with disabilities, habilitation, and/or child psychiatry. If you have knowledge of intellectual disability, mobility impairment, autism, or psychopedagogical work, we see that as positive. A class B driver's license is also meriting since work-related travel occurs. We are looking for you who enjoy working in a multidisciplinary setting and who have a genuine interest in meeting children, young people, and their families. You are confident in your professional role, work in a structured manner, and find it easy to build trusting relationships. Furthermore, you are flexible and see possibilities in changes. It is self-evident to you that children and young people are involved and that their perspective is taken into account. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.
