About the Position: This is a unique opportunity to combine child and family therapy with adult patient services. We are now seeking a psychologist who would like to work in a dynamic and varied workplace. The time allocated to each service area is determined by mutual agreement and preference. Cityläkarna is a private health center that also manages UPH services, Älvsborg Rehab Center, and BVC/Family Center. We are seeking a psychologist for our counseling clinic at the health center. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and counseling nurses. A responsible care coordinator for mental health issues triages patients and refers them to the appropriate professional for counseling treatment. As a psychologist, you will provide individual counseling treatment to adult patients registered with Cityläkarna. All therapy is short-term, with each patient receiving approximately 10 visits. Much of our focus is based on CBT, but this is not a requirement. You will also work closely with occupational therapists and physical therapists with a focus on the patient's mental wellbeing. Lotus UPH works to promote children and young people's mental health through group sessions, parental support, and counseling therapy. All treatment is currently short-term, and our mission also includes collaborating with various organizations and professionals. In your role at Lotus UPH, the primary focus will be on assessments and counseling treatment for children and adolescents. You will also provide parental support, conducted individually or in groups. According to VGR guidelines, we at Lotus UPH must offer various group programs such as Affekt, Cool Kids, or ABC. The work also includes coordinating services and collaborating with schools and social services, such as through SIP meetings. Meetings with patients and partner organizations are held both in-person and digitally, so comfort with the digital environment is desirable. We seek someone who is comfortable working independently and making decisions. Responsibilities: Lotus/Cityläkarna Provide individual counseling treatment under Cityläkarna's direction. Conduct assessments regarding possible referrals for neuropsychological evaluations and other mental health conditions requiring specialist level care. Provide counseling treatment for children and adolescents. Act as a "hub" by coordinating and collaborating with schools, social services, or other stakeholders. This includes participating in multidisciplinary meetings focused on ensuring coordinated services for children and young people. Provide parental support and help guardians manage difficult situations and strengthen relationships with their children under Lotus's direction. Lead group activities for both children and adults, such as parental groups and ABC programs. Qualifications: Focus on CBT Experience working with children and young people is requested. Experience with parental support and group facilitation is desirable but not required. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Multilingual background is a merit but not required.
