JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The main task at the BUP clinic Södertull in Gävle consists of working closely with other staff members on psychiatric assessments and investigations of children and adolescents aged 0-17 years. Together with other professional disciplines, you make decisions regarding care planning for each patient and participate with some regularity in daytime on-call services. Collaboration with care partners and other stakeholders such as child and adolescent rehabilitation services, school health services, social services, and family health services is an important part of the work. Although the main focus is assessment and investigation, there is an opportunity to work with psychological treatment. The operations are constantly evolving, and as a psychologist, you may also participate in both local and regional operational development projects. The psychology team has monthly supervision in diagnostics led by a specialist psychologist.

QUALIFICATIONS
This is a position for someone who is organized and takes responsibility. The work requires that you are problem-solving, have good collaboration skills, and good interpersonal abilities. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
In your role as a psychologist, you should:
• be a licensed psychologist or hold a psychology degree
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have experience working with neuropsychiatric assessment, within psychiatry, or with children and adolescents.
