About the Unit The Eating Disorders Unit Tornet is a regional specialist unit within child and adolescent psychiatry in Dalarna for children and young people up to 18 years of age. We assess and treat eating disorders and provide care and treatment to children and young people with eating disorder issues. Job Responsibilities At Tornet, professionals such as psychologists, nurses, social workers, family therapists, dietitians, and physicians work together in a multidisciplinary team with diverse expertise to best help patients. We place great emphasis on good patient interaction and designing care according to the patient's needs. Treatment interventions can be offered individually or in groups, with a distinct child and family perspective where the child/young person is at the center of care. In addition to providing treatment, support, and help to individuals affected by eating disorders, we also offer support to relatives and provide knowledge and information to those who encounter patients with eating disorders in their work. You will meet patients both individually and in groups for treatment and assessments. Qualifications Requirements - Licensed psychologist - Experience in health and medical care - Experience in psychiatric care and treatment Merits - Experience working with people in crisis, particularly within eating disorder issues - Experience in eating disorder care - Psychotherapeutic competence Personal Qualities You should have good collaboration skills and be able to cooperate with other professionals, both internally and externally.
