About the Operation Do you want to make a real difference for children and young people in Leksand and Rättvik? The Child and Youth Counseling Centers in Leksand and Rättvik offer meaningful and varied work where you work closely with children, young people, and their families - with a focus on early interventions and providing the right support at the right time. The centers are part of Primary Care and offer early and easily accessible psychological services for children and young people up to 17 years old. Children and young people who come to us are initially triaged through En väg in, which is a regional reception function. This means that needs and level of care have already been assessed at an initial stage, which gives you as a clinician a clear starting point in meeting with the patient. At the centers, a specialist nurse with a focus on psychiatry/CBT and a licensed psychotherapist with CBT focus currently work. We collaborate closely with school health services, social services, and other care providers. The operation is in a development phase, which gives you the opportunity to actively contribute to shaping future working methods. The Health Centers in Leksand and Rättvik are operated within the framework of Vårdval Primary Care Dalarna, which means that the operations are covered by a formal mandate and agreement that governs how primary care should be conducted, including regarding supply, quality, and accessibility. The position involves daytime work. Interviews will begin in week 34. Work Tasks As a licensed psychologist with us, you work with early interventions for children and young people's mental health in primary care. The position is split between the counseling centers in Leksand and Rättvik, which means travel between the locations is included in the position. The work is varied and combines independent clinical work with close collaboration with other actors around the child and family. You also work in a team with the center's therapists. Together you form a small team where you complement each other's expertise, collaborate on patients, and contribute to shared learning and development of the operation. You are responsible for preventing, identifying, and treating mental health issues. The assignment includes conducting assessments, offering brief treatment interventions, and following up on completed interventions. You work both with individual sessions and sessions together with next of kin. The work encompasses a broad range of psychological issues and you meet children and young people with various types of needs. Collaboration is a central part of the assignment and you regularly work with, for example, schools, social services, child and adolescent psychiatry, and other relevant actors. You actively contribute to the development of the operation by participating in improvement work and development of working methods and the center's content. The position also includes a generalist function, which means you can also work broadly within the health center's mandate and support various parts of the operation with your expertise when needed. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed psychologist with documented CBT competence who is confident in their professional role, has a strong interest in primary care, and is motivated by contributing early interventions for children and young people's mental health. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Requirements: - Licensed psychologist - Documented competence in CBT - Driver's license category B and experience driving a car - Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Merits: - Experience working in primary care psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, pediatrics, or school health services - Further education in psychological treatment, particularly in CBT, or other relevant specialization - Experience working with children, young people, and their families - Experience collaborating with other professions and actors around children and young people's mental health Personal Qualities You are confident in your professional role and have a good ability to create trusting relationships and provide security in meetings with children, young people, and their families. You enjoy working both independently and together with others, where collaboration and good teamwork are a natural part of the work. Furthermore, you are flexible, development-oriented, and see opportunities in change and improvement work. You have good communication skills, actively contribute to the operation's development, and have a genuine interest in working with early interventions for children and young people's mental health.
