JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to make a difference in children and young people's development, learning and well-being? At Central Child and Student Health Services in Örkelljunga municipality, you get an important role in a dedicated and competent team where collaboration, development and the student's best interests are in focus. We have two school psychologists, which provides good opportunities for collegial support, exchange of experience and joint development of the organization. We offer varied and meaningful work where you get to use your psychological expertise at the organizational, group and individual level. Together with the schools' student health teams, you contribute to creating accessible learning environments and health-promoting, preventive and inclusive services for the municipality's children and students. As a psychologist in preschool/school, you work together with local child and student health teams and in close collaboration with centrally placed professionals such as principals, school psychologists, special educators, school nurses and counselors. You contribute by bringing psychological expertise to support pedagogical work and participate in health-promoting and preventive efforts for all children and students' development toward learning and health. You work consultatively with educators and other professionals in preschool/school, provide supervision, conduct training and carry out investigations regarding school forms. Your work also includes conveying psychological knowledge to guardians. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and have knowledge of and experience working with children and young people. Experience from school activities is a merit. You are professional, engaged and contribute with structure, problem analysis and a holistic perspective in salutogenic student health work. You see possibilities, have a solution-focused approach and work to create good conditions for children and students' development, learning and health. It is a great advantage if you have good knowledge of the school's organization and governing documents as well as knowledge of relevant laws and regulations within the education field. To succeed in the role as school psychologist, we see that you: • have very good analytical ability, take own initiative and work evidence-based and systematically • can work independently as well as in close collaboration with colleagues, students and guardians • are relationship-building, responsive and trustworthy • have experience with psychological assessments, investigations and supervision • have good understanding of group processes and can contribute constructively in situations marked by crises or conflicts • are secure in your professional role and have good ability to plan, structure and prioritize your work.
