About the Operation Habilitation Services is a regional specialist operation with locations in five towns in Dalarna - Falun, Borlänge, Mora, Ludvika, and Avesta. Each unit has Child and Youth Habilitation as well as Adult Habilitation services. We work in multidisciplinary teams with medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. Habilitation Services has an important and challenging mission to improve life for children, young people, and adults with congenital or early-acquired disabilities, as well as their families. The positions are permanent and placement at one of our clinics in the region is possible. Interviews may begin during the application period. Job Responsibilities As a psychologist, you will work in close collaboration with other professionals at Habilitation Services. The work is varied as you will be responsible for psychological treatment work, conducting assessments, making diagnoses, performing functional evaluations, and identifying needs while providing individually adapted interventions. You will also provide therapeutically-oriented interventions as well as education and support to patients, families, staff, and others in the patient's network. You will be offered an introductory program, access to mentors and supervisors, and you will work as part of a professional team with psychologist colleagues in the operation. Travel to other clinics in the region may be part of the position and is conducted during work hours. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed psychologist, or if you are not yet licensed, you may apply for a postgraduate internship position or as a psychology assistant. You should then be currently studying psychology or have completed your psychology degree. Driving license (Category B) Meritorious: Previous experience from habilitation services Knowledge of various types of disabilities Experience with interviews and assessments with strong knowledge of testing methods Experience working with children Personal Qualities: Since you will be collaborating with other professionals, we place great emphasis on good teamwork ability, social competence, and personal suitability.
