The Regional Knowledge Center for Crisis and Disaster Psychology (RKK) is now seeking an engaged colleague who wants to contribute to developing the knowledge area and psychological crisis preparedness in Region Stockholm.
About the Position
The unit consists of six employees including a manager. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with other team members at the unit.
The position includes, among other things:
planning, implementing, and further developing training and exercise initiatives
leading and developing Region Stockholm's psychological/psychiatric crisis management and crisis support organization
driving method and operational development in project form
contributing to the unit's expert function within the crisis and disaster psychology knowledge area
collaborating with internal and external stakeholders both within and outside the region
Patient work is not part of the position.
The work is varied and periodically intensive. You operate in a dynamic environment and it requires a good ability to prioritize and handle rapid changes. The position may involve work outside the regular workplace and working hours when needed, for example during special events or operations.
About Us
The Regional Knowledge Center for Crisis and Disaster Psychology (RKK) is part of Stockholm County's Healthcare Area's (SLSO) central management support and serves as Region Stockholm's knowledge center for crisis and disaster psychology.
Our mission is to strengthen healthcare's ability to meet people in crisis – both in everyday healthcare and during serious events and disasters. We do this through information dissemination, education, collaboration exercises, knowledge and method development, and crisis and disaster psychology research.
A central part of our work is to develop the region's psychological crisis preparedness with a focus on strengthening recovery at the individual, group, and organizational levels.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
have training as a social worker or are a licensed psychologist, or alternatively have other education deemed equivalent
have basic knowledge in crisis and disaster psychology through education, professional experience, or equivalent
have experience lecturing and planning and conducting training initiatives
have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Meritorious
It is meritorious if you have:
experience working in Region Stockholm's psychological/psychiatric crisis management or crisis support organization, as a leader or crisis supporter, or equivalent experience from another region
experience with municipal crisis support work
clinical experience in psychological treatment work within healthcare
experience from habilitation or other work with people with disabilities/functional variation
interest in or experience with research
licensure as a healthcare curator, licensed psychotherapist, and/or specialist psychologist
Personal Qualities
In this role, you will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and many external stakeholders. We therefore seek someone with good collaboration skills and who can easily create and maintain trusting, professional relationships.
You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to remain calm and sound in judgment even in complex or pressured situations. You can distinguish between the personal and professional and act with integrity.
The work is periodically intensive and requires you to plan and prioritize your work, meet deadlines, and independently drive tasks forward. At the same time, you need to be flexible and thrive in an environment where conditions can change rapidly, for example during special events.
Since a large part of the assignment involves education and knowledge dissemination, we see that you have pedagogical insight and good communication skills; you can adapt your way of conveying knowledge to different target groups and create engagement around crisis and disaster psychology issues. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
