Enhanced child and adolescent psychiatric outpatient care is a unit whose mission is to implement intensive child psychiatric treatment interventions for children and young people up to 18 years old. This includes interventions that can be provided during longer work shifts, more frequently, and in different settings than traditional outpatient care. We also conduct diagnostic assessments and, when needed, parts of a diagnostic evaluation. The activities are carried out by a competent team with various professions and are characterized by close collaboration with other units within BUP. All interventions are provided based on the patient's individual needs, with the starting point in the current care plan and best available knowledge. To ensure that the interventions are beneficial, we work continuously with evaluation and follow-up. Job Duties The job duties include typical, qualified psychological interventions in the form of assessment, treatment, and sometimes evaluation. Treatment is provided in groups and individually. You will work both independently and in multiprofessional teams, as well as participate in joint conferences and professional meetings. We collaborate extensively with childcare, schools, social services, and other healthcare activities. Some basic training is included when you join us as new, and you will be offered a mentor. Temporary position until 2027-10-01 with possibility of extension. Qualifications Licensed psychologist with experience in treatment and assessment in child and adolescent psychiatry. You are confident in your profession and a secure, stable person who inspires trust in all contexts. You work in a structured manner and create order and clarity even when situations are complex. You have the ability to work independently within the framework of your professional role. With your good collaboration skills, you actively contribute to a positive work environment and see the value in working together to achieve common goals. It is meritious to have: Focus on cognitive behavioral therapy and experience with exposure treatments. Experience with child psychiatric evaluations. About the Organization Child and adolescent psychiatry is part of specialized psychiatric care. The organization includes outpatient clinics, enhanced outpatient care, and a care unit with acute services. A contact center for children and young people with mental health problems also belongs to the organization with the task of providing advice, conducting assessments, and triaging/sorting to the correct level of care. We work with treatment both individually and in groups as well as with both planned and acute visits and telephone counseling. We also offer psychopedagogical treatment interventions to patients and relatives. Together we are around 150 employees working with common processes and goals.
