Do you want to use your psychology expertise to contribute to a sustainable and healthy work life? We are seeking a psychologist for Occupational Health and Safety in Västervik. With us, you will work alongside other professionals and in close collaboration with managers, HR, business developers, and other stakeholders to support Region Kalmar County's operations on matters concerning occupational health and rehabilitation. As a psychologist with us, you will work in health promotion, prevention, and rehabilitation at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You will contribute psychological expertise to highlight the connections between work environment, organization, health, and business results. You will work with psychological assessments and counseling on work-life and rehabilitation-related matters, including assessments of work capacity, and provide crisis support when needed. The work is conducted for advisory and assessment purposes and does not entail treatment responsibility. The role also includes support to managers and leadership groups, supervision, and interventions in cases such as conflicts and organizational challenges. You will participate in occupational health assessments, training initiatives, and development work within organizational and social work environments. The role entails significant independent professional responsibility. You plan and prioritize your assignments independently based on operational needs, while maintaining close collaboration with other professionals and colleagues within the psychosocial field in the county. Work takes place both at our reception facilities and out in the region's operations. Travel within the county is included, and a company car/pool car is available for business trips. About You We are seeking you who are a licensed psychologist. Specialist competence in occupational and organizational psychology, supervisor training, or experience with organizational consulting work is a merit. We also view experience from occupational health services or other work supporting managers, groups, and organizations in work environment and change matters positively. You are confident in your professional role and have a consultative approach. You work independently and in a structured manner, have good judgment, and find it easy to build trusting relationships and collaborate with others. You are also comfortable with training, supervision, and knowledge transfer. Your Future Workplace Occupational Health and Safety is Region Kalmar County's internal occupational health service. We are approximately 20 employees with operations in Kalmar, Västervik, and Oskarshamn. With us, psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, ergonomists, and occupational health engineers work together to contribute to sustainable, safe, and well-functioning workplaces. Our breadth of expertise allows us to meet operational needs from multiple perspectives and create initiatives that make a difference for employees, managers, and operations in the region. Our unit is part of the Regional Staff, which consists of 150 employees with expertise in, among other areas, finance, law, HR, communication, planning, coordination, sustainability, security, infection control, and healthcare hygiene. Everyone works to develop the organization and improve life for the residents of Kalmar County. Within our respective areas of expertise, we also support Region Kalmar County's management, managers, and administrations.
