Your Responsibilities We are now seeking a psychologist for the Department of Work and Support, unit Supplementary Measures. As a psychologist with us, you provide consultation to colleagues and work directly with participants to strengthen their conditions for work, studies, and self-sufficiency. You will work with, among other things, the following: Provide consultation to employment coordinators and social workers regarding participants' health and daily living challenges. Meet with participants and provide interventions aimed at strengthening their ability to manage health and daily living challenges on the path toward work and studies. We do not provide medical or psychological treatment. Conduct assessments of cognitive prerequisites and functional and activity capacity, and based on this identify conditions for making progress toward work or studies. Collaborate and refer to other actors within the municipality or region. Examples of interventions that can take place within the team: adjustments and support before or during work-like activities/work training/internships/employment/studies support or training in developing new ways to better manage daily life identifying, communicating needs for, and initiating other interventions, for example from healthcare and municipal services advice on health challenges such as pain, sleep, fatigue, stress, and mental health issues group activities aimed at progressing toward self-sufficiency You work both independently and in close collaboration with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals, such as employment consultants, social workers, and supervisors. Your Workplace In the Supplementary Measures unit, there are study and career counselors, language developers, and the Health and Daily Life team. As a psychologist, you will be part of the Health and Daily Life team. In addition to the psychologist, the team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. Currently, 16 employees work in the unit, and we are now expanding with an additional psychologist. You will be based in central Linköping at Nygatan 19. Working hours are during daytime on weekdays, and flexible working agreements apply. There is an opportunity for remote work once you have settled into your role and when business allows. About You We are seeking someone who is a licensed psychologist with professional work experience in the field. If you have experience working in multiprofessional teams, we view this as a merit. For you to thrive, it is desirable that you have experience with and appreciate working with individuals with complex and broad challenges who are far from establishing themselves in the labor market and other social services. Experience in identifying the need for and offering psychological interventions and conversations aimed at better managing health and daily living challenges is also viewed as a merit. Since the position involves written and verbal communication with internal and external contacts, we require good Swedish language skills both verbally and in writing. It is desirable that you have knowledge of assessment instruments and/or self-report questionnaires related to work. You are someone who is secure, stable, and has good self-awareness. You have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and see possibilities in change. Furthermore, you are self-driven and can move your processes forward.
