About the job As a test technician, you will be part of a team responsible for testing diesel engine components and subsystems, such as fuel systems, injectors, oil pumps, and aftertreatment systems. The work is conducted in close collaboration with test engineers and component managers, where test results form an important part of product development. Tests are performed according to both standardized methods and in prototype environments. Your main focus will be working with valve mechanism and urea dosing rigs as well as support within the fuel injector testing process. Example of work tasks: - Prepare and conduct test activities on engine components and subsystems - Install and connect test objects in test cells and connect measurement equipment - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on test rigs - Troubleshoot and diagnose test objects and test equipment together with support functions - Adjust control system data (ECU) in collaboration with test engineers - Report deviations and faults according to established procedures - Ensure high quality of measurement data and test results - Work with injector testing, which includes testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of fuel injectors for diesel engines - Connect test objects, conduct tests, and analyze and document measurement results from injector tests - Contribute to a safe and efficient working method in the test environment Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and experience with mechanical work, preferably related to diesel engines and test systems. You are thorough and quality-conscious with an analytical and solution-oriented approach. As a person, you are communicative, responsible, and enjoy collaborating with others, while taking your own initiative and working proactively with a focus on quality and safety. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: - Technical upper secondary education or equivalent technical experience - Experience with mechanical work on engines, preferably diesel engines - Experience with measurement connections and evaluation of measurement results - Experience with testing and troubleshooting fuel injection systems or injectors - Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems - Experience with chemical handling - Good computer skills and experience with MS Office - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious: - Previous experience from test operations or laboratory environments - Experience working with ECU systems - Experience from the automotive industry - Experience in similar roles in testing and development Background check information In accordance with our customers' requirements, a background check against criminal and administrative records is conducted in this recruitment as part of the employment process.
