About the Role As a test engineer at Husqvarna, you will work with testing and verification of handheld gasoline-powered products such as string trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and chain saws. You plan, conduct, and follow up on durability, functionality, and performance tests to ensure that products meet quality and functional requirements before launch. The work includes both laboratory and field testing as well as analysis, documentation, and reporting of test results. You will also develop test methods, measurement systems, and data collection methods, as well as build and adapt fixtures and test rigs. The role involves close collaboration with designers, project teams, and specialist functions within R&D, where you contribute with technical verification throughout the product development process. About You We are looking for someone with a technical education in, for example, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering, or alternatively has acquired equivalent competence through work experience. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. As a person, you enjoy combining practical work with analysis and documentation. You work in a structured and thorough manner, while also being flexible and able to adapt when conditions and priorities change. You appreciate collaboration and feel comfortable in a development environment where you have many contact points and the opportunity to influence both products and ways of working.
