Exam Proctors and Assistants Needed for the Swedish Aptitude Test on October 18

Each spring and fall, Stockholm University's UHR assists in administering the Swedish Aptitude Test in Stockholm County. The purpose of the test is to measure knowledge and skills that are important for the ability to succeed in higher education studies. We are now seeking staff to work on the test day. Work takes place at several different test centers throughout the Stockholm region. See information about current positions below. The exam proctor leads the test in a test room and is responsible for ensuring the test is conducted correctly and that regulations are followed. Work tasks include providing test participants with clear and correct information, guiding test participants through the various stages of the test, conducting identity verification, handling test materials according to instructions, and supervision. The assistant supports the exam proctor in a test room with multiple test-taking groups. Work tasks include, among other things, distributing and collecting test materials, conducting identity verification, and supervision. Qualifications Requirements • You must have an academic degree or experience that the employer considers equivalent. • You must have fluent Swedish proficiency in speech and writing. • You must have previous experience with independent work. Meritorious • Current or previous work at a university or college. • Current or previous work in the public sector. • Experience and knowledge of pedagogical work within a school/educational institution. • Experience and knowledge of speaking to groups. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is responsible, thorough, organized, stress-tolerant, and cooperative. You follow instructions and familiarize yourself with rules and procedures. The work requires great commitment, and we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Terms Before the work date, you need to carefully read through a job description and complete a digital training. Work hours for proctors and assistants are 7:15 AM–5:00 PM (9 hours). The hourly rate is 319.20 kr for proctors and 229.60 kr for assistants (including vacation pay). Lunch is unpaid and travel compensation is not paid.
