As a Project Engineer with us, you work on designing fiber solutions in the Växjö area. The role involves planning and preparing work, preparing documentation, handling permits, and monitoring finances throughout the project. You have many contact points and become an important link between the customer, project management, contractors, and field personnel. Examples of responsibilities: Design excavation solutions and prepare documentation and drawings for field personnel. Prepare land agreements together with relevant landowners. Apply for and manage permits from, for example, the municipality, the Swedish Transport Administration, and the County Administrative Board. Contact property owners, municipalities, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Conduct site visits, inspections, and participate in construction meetings. Prepare cost and revenue calculations and monitor finances, variation work, and billing documentation. Ensure that documentation, logbooks, and other materials are compiled correctly. You will be based in Växjö and work on projects that often run for extended periods. The work takes place both in the field where you have many contacts with, for example, landowners and in the office where a large part of the work is administrative. Since the role involves many contact points, it is important that you have good social skills and can build trust in dialogue with customers, landowners, authorities, contractors, and colleagues. We would like you to have: Post-secondary education, for example in construction, civil engineering, or similar, or alternatively practical experience from the field. Experience or understanding of land, environment, civil engineering, fiber expansion, or design work. Good computer and system skills. Financial understanding and the ability to monitor costs, revenue, and documentation. Class B driver's license. Entrepreneur law, AB04/ABT06, BAS P, BAS U It is meritorious if you have experience with permit handling, earthwork, or previous work as a Project Engineer. Additional information This is a permanent full-time position starting with a 6-month probation period.
