About us
Telia Field Operations is Telia's own contracting operation and our primary task is to ensure that Telia's national security customers are constantly operational and can expand, even in crisis and emergency times. We work with fiber construction, switchovers, network security work, method development, network investigations, migration work, etc. Our assignment also includes service, delivery and troubleshooting of the fixed network.
With us, you become part of a national team with our skilled employees. We are located in Örebro, Trollhättan, Gothenburg, Sundsvall, Stockholm, Kalmar, Gotland, Luleå and Scania. We currently have around 55 employees, of which 4 are project managers.
Within the East unit, we are looking for a project manager for our office in Solna with a service area covering northern Stockholm - Gävle, alternative placement locations may also be relevant. We have a culture within the unit for project management where we support and help each other. We care about each other's health and well-being.
Description
As a project manager, you will primarily manage and lead projects within Telia's network. You are responsible for your own projects. Contact with clients, establish time and resource plans, cost monitoring, resource and quality assurance. Ordering of subcontractors, material ordering, development of technical solutions for the project and documentation.

You enjoy working independently and take great responsibility for ensuring your work is well executed with good quality and on schedule. As a project manager, you also need good collaboration skills as the position involves contact and cooperation with clients, end customers, technicians, landowners, subcontractors and colleagues. The work will involve security-sensitive information and therefore requires that you can handle work under strict confidentiality. We would like to see female applicants.
Qualifications
Must have worked as a project manager in Telecom for at least 2 years
B-class driving license
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Good PC proficiency
Good knowledge of the Office package
Experience handling TA-plans and permits
Ability to read and interpret LNS/UTS
Employment with us involves placement in a security classification that requires Swedish citizenship. Security vetting with register checks will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
Merits
Experience from transmission
Experience with Telia systems (SPAN/SPIV, IGS/ARP, Nice/Iview etc.)
Experience working with security protection requirements
Experience with IP-based services
Experience with Autocad
Experience with field work in telecom or similar
Ability to design TA-plans
Experience in mobile and radio link planning.
