Norconsult is growing and is now seeking an independent project engineer in electrical and automation for our team with placement in Växjö, Kalmar, or Karlskrona. With us, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects together with driven colleagues and in close contact with customers. As a project engineer with technical responsibility, you will work as the responsible engineer for electrical and automation systems in areas such as:
Water and wastewater facilities
Biogas and energy plants
Process industry
Infrastructure projects
Building automation
You are responsible for ensuring technical solutions, design documentation, and other deliverables, and you will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities:
Design of electrical power, control, and automation systems
Development of technical descriptions according to AMA standards
Coordination with other technical disciplines
Customer contact and technical consulting
Your profile
You are a responsible, organized, and quality-conscious person who works well with others, both colleagues within and across technical disciplines and with our customers.
To succeed in this role, you need to:
Have experience in electrical and/or automation design
Work independently and take responsibility for your deliverables
Good knowledge of AMA standards
Have an understanding of PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems
Have strong communication skills in Swedish, both written and verbal
Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
We consider it a merit if you have experience from water/wastewater, industrial, energy, or other process facilities.
