We are seeking a project coordinator for the project (SIA) Social Innovation for Work in Falkenberg Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan is operating the three-year ESF project Social Innovation for Work, Halland (SIA) in collaboration with Folkbildningsrådet. The project is aimed at individuals who are far from the labor market and offers support to develop, find motivation, and take steps toward studies, work, and self-sufficiency. We are now looking for a project coordinator for our operations in Falkenberg. About the Position As a project coordinator, you will work closely with participants who are far from the labor market, with a particular focus on foreign-born individuals. The position involves work tasks corresponding to the role of group leader and mentor, where you plan, lead, and follow up on measures both individually and in groups. Your work will play an important role in supporting participants to: increase their motivation and confidence in their own ability to approach studies or work receive an individual plan through assessment, targeted measures, and guidance participate in complementary adult education activities within the study associations' regular operations take the next step toward, for example, folk high school, Komvux, vocational higher education, employers, or other relevant actors Your role includes teaching and leading activities in, among others: Swedish and vocational Swedish digital competence society information labor market matters administration work may occur You will also contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment where participants have the opportunity to develop their linguistic, social, and practical skills. About the Project SIA – Social Innovation for Work offers individuals who are far from the labor market a chance to develop, find motivation, and take new steps toward studies, work, and self-sufficiency. Through the strength of adult education, pedagogical methods, and personal attention, each participant receives support tailored to their individual needs. The project aims to reduce long-term unemployment, increase social inclusion, and create more equal opportunities for employment. We are Looking for Someone Who · has experience working with the target group of foreign-born and unemployed individuals · has experience facilitating group meetings with different adaptation levels · can work with assessment, individual plans, guidance, and motivational support · can teach Swedish, digital competence, society information, and labor market matters · has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written · is confident, attentive, and good at meeting people where they are · can work independently and in a structured manner, while also collaborating well with others It is Advantageous if You have a broad network with companies and employers have experience in adult education, mentoring, or labor market measures have good knowledge of educational pathways and other actors such as folk high schools, Komvux, vocational higher education, and labor market measures have good local knowledge of the labor market in Falkenberg/Halland Scope: 50% Employment Form: Project Employment Period: September 1, 2026 – February 28, 2029
