You now have the opportunity to join us as a Project Worker supporting youth through municipal activation responsibility (KAA). We warmly welcome your application! Kungshögaskolan, where this position is based, is one of two upper secondary schools in the municipality with over 400 students and approximately 50 staff members. The school offers academic preparation programs, vocational programs, and introduction programs. You will work in a team with the project's project manager, in close collaboration with the school's student welfare team and teachers in the introduction program. This position is placed within the Education Administration, one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments, responsible for preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, adapted primary and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we provide education that promotes all children and students in lifelong learning and work according to the vision "high academic achievement in a school where everyone can and wants to be." We place great emphasis on working closely with operations through regular dialogue and support to school leaders and teachers based on our governance chain. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a project worker, you will be a key person in the team responsible for the project's daily work. You will work closely with young people, serving as support, a coach, and a coordinating contact person throughout their pathway toward studies, internships, or work. The position involves varied work where individual support is combined with developing new working methods and collaboration between different operations. In this role, you will, among other things: • assess participants' needs • plan and carry out individual support measures and activities for smaller groups • continuously follow up and document the work • coordinate internship placements and establish contacts with employers As part of the project, you will also contribute to developing and evaluating the project's methods and approaches, and participate in the project's reporting and dissemination of results. Regional project meetings, training sessions, and experience exchanges will be part of your work. You will be part of work where you can make a real difference in young people's futures. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • a university degree of at least 180 credits in social work, behavioral science, pedagogy, occupational therapy, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. • previous experience working in a coaching and networking capacity with people far from the labor market • a Class B driver's license is required It is advantageous if you have: • experience with Municipal Activation Responsibility (KAA), introduction programs, or upper secondary school and labor market initiatives • experience with collaboration between different authorities and operations • experience with methods such as Supported Education, Supported Employment, or similar As a person, we are looking for someone who is confident, engaged, and relationship-building. You have a natural ability to build trust with young people while being organized and able to drive your work forward independently. You are flexible, see opportunities where others see obstacles, and appreciate working together with other professionals. You have strong abilities in coordinating, documenting, and following up on your work. We place great importance on personal suitability. You have an interest in working in a motivating manner with a coaching approach and a desire to build and coordinate collaboration with the municipality's operations, authorities, and external actors.
