About the Job As a project manager/design engineer within Energy & Process, you hold a key role in both project management and technical design/engineering. You have overall responsibility for the entire process, from leading projects from concept to completion, and ensuring that technical solutions are well-designed and meet specifications. The role requires a combination of technical competence, organizational ability, and leadership. You report directly to the Business Area Project Manager and ensure that projects are executed efficiently, structurally, and safely. As a Project Manager/Design Engineer, you will plan, drive, and follow up projects from start to final delivery according to agreed schedules and budgets. You are responsible for coordinating and communicating between different departments, such as engineering, procurement, production, and the customer, to ensure project objectives are achieved and quality and safety standards are maintained. Within design work, you shape technical solutions and create production drawings in CAD systems, and develop and optimize technical solutions to meet customer specifications as well as sustainability and cost-efficiency requirements. You collaborate with other designers and production personnel to ensure that the design can be manufactured and assembled efficiently. You also calculate costs and provide quotations for products and services to customers. We Are Looking For We are looking for you with relevant technical experience, for example in design or manufacturing of steel structures and sheet metal parts, preferably with experience in welding or equivalent professional experience in technical or industrial projects. You may be working as a mechanic and want to develop in design and drawing, or have previously worked as a design engineer and want to take the next step in project management. Experience with CAD programs and knowledge of material selection and experience collaborating with subcontractors is a plus. Previous experience with scheduling and budget monitoring as well as strong leadership and communication skills is a plus. You work equally effectively in a team as independently and communicate fluently in Swedish, and preferably also English in both speech and writing.
