Job Responsibilities As a project manager within utilities/infrastructure at Gislaveds Municipality, you are responsible for managing both small and large construction projects – from planning through implementation and follow-up. You ensure that regulatory requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality and environmental requirements are met. The work takes place in close collaboration with both internal colleagues and external parties. You report to a unit manager or department manager, and in larger projects to a steering committee. The role includes proposing action alternatives, making decisions on measures, and allocating resources within the project framework. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - A civil or engineering degree in construction or infrastructure engineering, or equivalent education. - Several years of experience leading projects within construction/development in various phases. - Experience working according to AB and ABT standards, as well as good knowledge of AMA standards. - Experience in the BAS-P role. - Good knowledge of permit and approval processes for land and development projects. - The ability to understand technical materials and present them clearly to others. - A Class B driver's license (the position involves travel within the municipality). Meritorious It is an advantage if you have: - Experience acting as a public client and good knowledge of public procurement regulations and contract procurement. - Understanding of legal aspects in the procurement process. - Previously worked in a politically governed organization. - Experience working in the field.
