Responsibilities
As a project manager, you will lead water and wastewater projects from early stages through implementation to project completion. You lead projects that develop and renew Nacka's water and wastewater facilities and networks and contribute to long-term sustainable water and wastewater supply. You have overall responsibility for project progress and serve as the hub between technology, economics, and collaboration. In the role, you coordinate internal and external resources, lead decision-making processes, and ensure that projects deliver according to objectives and requirements. In addition to project responsibility, you contribute to developing working methods and project methodology as well as provide support to colleagues within the project organization.
• Lead large water and wastewater and infrastructure projects from start to completion
• Manage planning, implementation, and follow-up
• Guide projects toward established goals regarding time, cost, and quality
• Lead and coordinate project teams and external parties
• Manage project finances, budget, and reporting
• Drive procurements and participate in negotiations
• Manage risks and ensure project progress
• Ensure compliance with requirements, standards, and agreements
• Contribute to developing working methods and project processes
Additional Information
The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement
The position will be placed in a security classification and a security clearance including background check will be conducted before employment
Qualifications
To succeed in the role, you are a structured and responsible project manager who drives your projects forward with a clear results focus. You have a confident and present working style that builds trust in the projects you are responsible for and in collaboration with internal and external parties. You are communicative and collaboration-oriented and have an easy time building trust in dialogue with colleagues, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. You thrive in complex situations where many parts need to be coordinated and have the ability to make well-founded decisions even when circumstances change. At the same time, you have good analytical skills and see both the big picture and details in project implementation. You take initiative and drive work forward with a focus on ensuring progress and results.
• Higher education or university degree in civil engineering, water and wastewater, roads and water, or equivalent experience deemed equivalent
• Several years of experience in project management within water and wastewater, facilities, or infrastructure
• Good knowledge of contract law and procurement (AB, ABT, ABK as well as LOU/LUF and AMA)
• Experience with budget work and project follow-up
• Good understanding of risk management in complex projects
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• B-level driver's license
