Driving, developing, and building the power grid of the future requires many different competencies, and we continue to grow, which is why we're seeking new Project Managers. We are seeking a Project Manager for substation and grid projects within 20-220kV voltage. You will be ultimately responsible for realizing set objectives and have overall responsibility for steering projects to the right cost, quality, and timeline. This includes leading and coordinating projects and communicating and representing Vattenfall's interests to other stakeholders such as authorities, municipalities, and contractors. Your main responsibilities include: Lead, allocate, and monitor work both internally within the project team and externally through our suppliers and contractors Take overall responsibility within the agreed project scope regarding budget, schedule, functionality, and quality Monitor and serve as a role model for safety work and ensure a safe working environment Create and maintain both external and internal relationships with customers, consultants, and authorities, and collaborate internally with other functions within the company Communicate and report project status to relevant stakeholders and ensure they have the right information Develop strategies to improve procurement processes together with the procurement team Monitor forecasts and budget tracking for approved projects Work proactively with cost estimation and risk management in the project Requirements We are looking for someone who thrives in an independent role where you can lead and engage others toward set goals and drive project progress with good quality. You value relationship-building and are experienced in managing many contacts and different requirements from stakeholders, other grid companies, and authorities. With your communication skills, you create clarity for all involved. You find it easy to understand the big picture and are accustomed to planning and prioritizing in your daily work. We believe you have post-secondary education, preferably in energy, electrical engineering, project management, economics, law, or relevant work experience. You have several years of experience in project management in the execution phase and also experience with electrical projects. Furthermore, you have: Knowledge of construction law (AB04/ABT06/ABK09) Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing Driver's license: class B It is an advantage if you have: Education in project management and/or electrical safety Experience in project management within regional networks, infrastructure, or development Experience working with authorities regarding matters such as building permits, water and sewage, traffic safety, and/or permit issues Experience working on the supplier side from a customer perspective Experience with mentoring Additional Information In addition to being part of shaping the future's smart energy society, we offer you a developmental and varied job with many contact points.
