Driving, developing, and building the electrical grid of the future requires many different competencies, and we continue to grow, which is why we are looking for new Project Managers. We are seeking a Project Manager for substation and transmission line projects within 20-220kV voltage. You will be ultimately responsible for realizing set goals and have overall responsibility for steering projects to the right cost, quality, and timeline. This includes, among other things, leading and coordinating projects as well as communicating and representing Vattenfall's interests toward other stakeholders such as authorities, municipalities, and contractors. Your main responsibilities include the following: Lead, allocate, and follow up on work both internally within the project team and externally through our suppliers and contractors Take overall responsibility within the agreed project scope regarding economy, timeline, function, and quality Follow up and serve as a role model for safety work and ensure a safe working environment Create and maintain both external and internal relationships with clients, consultants, and authorities, and collaborate internally with other functions within the company Communicate and report project status to relevant stakeholders and ensure they have the right information Create strategies to develop procurement procedures in collaboration with procurement Follow forecast and budget tracking for decided projects Work proactively with costing and risk management in the project Requirements We are looking for someone who thrives in an independent role where you can lead and engage others toward set goals and create momentum in projects with good quality. You value relationship-building and are accustomed to handling many contacts and various requirements from stakeholders, other grid companies, and authorities. With your communication skills, you create clarity for all involved. You find it easy to understand the big picture and are accustomed to planning and prioritizing in your daily work. We believe you have post-secondary education, preferably in energy, electrical power, project management, economics, law, or relevant work experience. You have several years of experience in project management in the execution phase and also experience with electrical power projects. Furthermore, you have: Knowledge of contract law (AB04/ABT06/ABK09) Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing Driver's license: class B It is a merit if you have: Education in project management and/or electrical safety Experience in project management within regional grids, infrastructure, or development Experience working with authorities regarding, for example, building permits, water/wastewater, traffic safety issues, and/or permit matters Experience working on the supplier side from a customer perspective Experience with mentoring Additional Information In addition to being part of shaping the future's smart energy society, we offer you a developing and varied job with many contact points.
