Your role As a project manager, you'll take on a leadership role with responsibility for the entire project process, from planning, design, and budgeting to contracts, implementation, and handover. You'll have a broad mandate to assemble your own project team and lead specialists, consultants, and contractors toward common goals. Projects vary in scope and complexity, from smaller investment projects to larger facility projects with many stakeholders and high coordination requirements. The position is placed in the Kiruna Project Operations Support section. Our area of responsibility includes projects within mining, operations support, dams & depositories. The section consists of 15 employees distributed among the positions of project manager, project coordinator, and site manager. You'll become part of a dedicated project organization where you'll work closely with experienced project managers, site managers, and project coordinators on some of LKAB's most significant investment projects. With your solution-oriented approach, you successfully navigate complex project environments and make well-founded decisions even when circumstances change. To succeed in the role, we see that you have good understanding of a project's different phases, from planning and design to implementation and handover. You're experienced in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders and feel comfortable in dialogue with specialists, consultants, and contractors. We also believe you have good technical understanding and can interpret drawings, technical documentation, and other materials that are important for project progress. The position requires: Academic degree, preferably an engineering degree with technical/project orientation, or equivalent relevant work experience from project work Knowledge of construction site environmental coordination (BAS-P/BAS-U) Knowledge of contract law Good understanding of project management, financial management, and established project models Good skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written Driver's license category B Merits for the position: Experience with project management in larger facility or industrial projects, where you've led projects through the entire process from planning to completion Knowledge of different contract and procurement forms Certification in project management We warmly welcome your application!
