Filmpool Nord is seeking a self-driven project manager who wants to lead a development project focused on new technology, skills, and collaborations. About the Role As a project manager at Filmpool Nord, you'll play a central role in an EU-funded development project within film, TV, and moving image in Norrbotten. The project runs for three years with the goal of strengthening the film industry in the region. The assignment involves creating conditions for a more competitive, innovative, and sustainable industry, where companies and creatives in Norrbotten can develop in line with new technologies and working methods, and find new collaborations. In practice, this means you'll plan, drive, and implement various activities such as workshops, training programs, and meeting spaces. You'll identify industry needs, translate them into concrete initiatives, and make them happen. The role involves many contact points where you build relationships, collaborate with different stakeholders, and bring in external expertise to raise the level and create value in the project. Luleå University of Technology is the project owner and Filmpool Nord is a project partner. You'll work independently in your role but in close dialogue with colleagues, reporting to the steering group, LTU, and Tillväxtverket. This is a role with considerable freedom to plan and implement the content of the EU project, where your ability to drive, prioritize, and make things happen is crucial. You're comfortable in social settings, have strong communication skills, and feel at ease leading meetings, facilitating workshops, and presenting to groups. You have a solution-oriented approach where you don't wait for others to point the way but take responsibility for moving work forward yourself. You have an excellent ability to manage and report both at a detailed level and at an overall level. Since the role involves working in publicly funded operations, it's important that you have knowledge of society and good judgment and responsibility—both in how you prioritize and how you use resources. Requirements for the Role: - Solid experience in project management or equivalent responsibility - Excellent administrative skills - Experience with budget responsibility and follow-up - Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - Deep knowledge of Norrbotten - Good knowledge of society and understanding of public funding - Class B driver's license Meriting Qualifications: - Experience from creative and cultural industries - Experience planning and arranging events, workshops, or training programs - Experience from collaboration projects - Interest in or knowledge of new technology and innovation About Filmpool Nord Filmpool Nord is a regional film organization whose mission includes film/TV/moving image as an industry, business, cultural expression, and educational tool. The company invests in film and TV production and provides support to professional and semiprofessional filmmakers, talents, associations, educators, children, and young people. The company was founded in 1996 and is owned by Region Norrbotten and twelve of the region's municipalities. Filmpool Nord is headquartered and has offices in Luleå. Operations are conducted throughout Norrbotten. More Information About the Position This is a full-time project position during the three-year project period, starting October 1, 2026.
