About the Operation
The Projects and Technology Department is responsible for planning, leading, and executing Region Västernorrland's construction, installation, and property projects, as well as providing technical expertise to ensure sustainable, functional, and operationally adapted facilities within the region's property portfolio.
The Projects and Technology Department is seeking a project manager who wants to take responsibility for smaller projects, facility adaptations, maintenance measures, and operational improvements within Region Västernorrland's property portfolio. This role suits you if you have a few years of experience in project management and want to develop in an environment where you work practically, systematically, and solution-oriented together with operations, technical specialists, consultants, and contractors.
This position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start according to agreement.
Duties
Lead smaller construction, installation, and property projects from planning through execution and completion.
Work systematically with decision-making materials, budgets, schedules, orders, and documentation.
Coordinate contacts with operations, facility management, consultants, and contractors.
Follow up on budget, schedule, quality, and execution in assigned projects.
Participate in smaller procurements, call-offs, and contract management.
Ensure that measures are carried out according to requirements, procedures, and agreed objectives.
Responsible for documentation, handover, and follow-up after completed assignments.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who
Has relevant post-secondary education in construction, technology, installation, property, or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent
Has at least 3 years of experience in project management, work supervision, or coordination within construction, installation, or property areas
Holds a category B driver's license
Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Has experience planning, coordinating, and following up on smaller projects or assignments
Is accustomed to documenting decisions, orders, alignments, and follow-ups.
It is advantageous if you
Have experience in property management, facility operations, or public sector activities
Have knowledge of LOU and call-offs from framework agreements
Have experience with healthcare, hospital, or other public facilities
Have technical expertise or experience in HVAC, electrical, or construction
