The Land and Development Department is part of the Urban Development Administration and is responsible for the municipality's land and development matters. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a project manager in land use and development, you will drive development projects through the entire urban development process from early concepts and investigations to implementation and completion. You are responsible for creating momentum in projects and coordinate work between internal and external stakeholders. The job responsibilities include: • Lead and drive development projects from early investigation to completion. • Be responsible for project timelines, budgets, quality, and goal achievement. • Prepare decision-making materials and manage agreements. • Coordinate developers, consultants, contractors, and authorities. • Work with financial monitoring, risk management, and project governance. • Present projects to political bodies and other decision-makers. • Contribute to the development of the department's working methods and processes. Project scope and complexity will be adapted based on your experience and competence. QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in this role, you should have higher education in, for example, surveying, urban development, civil engineering, or equivalent. You should also: • Have experience in project management, land and development matters, or other relevant work in urban development. • Have a strong ability to coordinate different stakeholders and drive processes forward. • Be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is advantageous if you have experience in: • Municipal operations. • Development projects or urban development projects. • Negotiation, land matters, and contract management. • Managing complex projects with many stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to build and maintain trusting relationships.
