We are seeking a project manager who wants to plan and expand public transportation on Hisingen and thereby contribute to connecting Gothenburg together. You will work on the development of Citybuss Backastråket, which includes the projects Gåsagången and the reconstruction of the northern part of Litteraturgatan. In parallel, you will also support other subprojects linked to Spårväg Lindholmen–Eriksberg. Here you will have the opportunity to follow a complex project through several phases, from detailed design and procurement to construction and completed facility. Together we create the conditions for a more sustainable, accessible, and attractive city. The project is driven by Stora projekt at Exploateringsförvaltningen within Göteborgs Stad and is an important part of the development of Norra Älvstranden. The project encompasses several subprojects in different phases, which gives you a unique opportunity to develop your competence throughout project implementation, from planning and design to production and completed facility. You will follow the development over time and see how ideas and drawings are gradually transformed into functioning and long-term infrastructure. You will become part of the Stora projekt department, where we together drive some of the city's most strategically important construction projects. Job Responsibilities Your main responsibility will be to lead the Citybuss Backastråket project, Gåsagången, and the reconstruction of the northern part of Litteraturgatan, which is currently in the detailed design phase and is planned for construction start in autumn 2027. You will also work on other projects within Norra Älvstranden. In this role, you work closely with other project team members and have significant responsibility for leading and coordinating the extensive consultant organization that participates in design and upcoming implementation. Your main job responsibilities are to: Lead and drive projects through different phases, from design to construction and completed facility. Plan, manage, and monitor the project's schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Coordinate and lead work within contracted consultant organizations. Be responsible for project planning, follow-up, and reporting. Participate in and be responsible for procurements of consultants and contractors as well as development of procurement strategies. Prepare decision-making materials and project materials for internal and external decisions. Coordinate the project's many stakeholders and create good cooperation between consultants, contractors, authorities, and other interested parties. Review documents and participate in inspections. An important part of the assignment is to create continuity between the project's different phases and ensure that knowledge and intentions are carried forward from design to implementation. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: At least a higher engineering degree with a focus on infrastructure or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent. At least seven years of experience working on infrastructure projects. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, for example as a project manager, project leader, site manager, or site supervisor. Experience leading and coordinating consultants, contractors, or other project stakeholders. Good knowledge of ABK, AB, ABT, and AMA. Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. It is meritorious if you have: Experience from the construction phase in infrastructure projects. Experience from municipal operations or client organization. Experience with Antura and XLPM.
