Description The Addiction and Acute Psychiatry department provides both inpatient and outpatient care for patients with substance use disorders. This primarily includes dependence on alcohol and drugs, but there is also an outpatient clinic for gambling and gaming addiction. The psychiatric emergency clinic is organizationally part of this department. The project manager position will be part of the department's management team. Responsibilities As a project manager, you will work primarily within the department, mainly with patient safety, by investigating and following up on incidents and deviations within operations. The work includes, among other things, interviewing patients, relatives, and staff, analyzing medical documentation, and compiling written reports. You will also work on developing care for the department's major patient groups. Development work includes improving the content and efficiency of care, not least through data-driven development within a learning health system framework. In your work, you will collaborate with other project managers within and outside the department, and have direct contact with care staff in both outpatient and 24-hour care. In your role, you also support department management in capturing, investigating, and finding solutions to various operational ideas within your area of expertise. Qualifications We are looking for someone with higher education in health and medical care and experience with clinical work in psychiatry. It is an advantage if you have experience with development work in psychiatric care, as well as experience and training in methods relevant for patients within the department's target groups. It is beneficial if you also have experience working in psychiatric 24-hour care. Experience and education in research, project management, and IT are of value.
