Project Manager Steel and Industrial Projects On behalf of our client, we are seeking a project manager who wants to take on real overall responsibility, from initial quote to completed project. This is an opportunity to become part of an established industrial company with extensive experience in steel and industrial projects. About the role You will become a key person in an established industrial company working with projects in steel, industry, and construction. You are responsible for ensuring projects are completed with the right quality, on time, and profitably. The role offers great freedom with responsibility where you have the mandate to make decisions and drive the business forward. Your duties include, among other things: * Estimate projects and prepare quotes. * Drive projects from start to finish. * Plan personnel, materials, and resources. * Ensure quality, work environment, and deliveries. * Be responsible for project economics and profitability. * Follow up on subcontractor work and create the right conditions for good margins. * Be the customer's natural point of contact throughout the entire project. * Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the company's continued development. Who are you? You have likely worked in construction, steel, or the industrial sector and feel confident reading drawings, estimating work, and leading projects. Perhaps you are already a project manager, site manager, or construction manager and are used to estimating business deals? For us, the title is not the most important thing. We place greater emphasis on who you are than exactly how many years you have worked. We believe you: * Have experience with projects involving steel or steel structures. * Have an understanding of estimates and project economics. * Enjoy taking responsibility and making decisions. * Are solution-oriented and see opportunities instead of obstacles. * Have a natural business mindset and understand the importance of profitable projects. * Dare to set standards – both for yourself and others. * Enjoy the fact that no two days are the same.
