Description The Urban Environment Administration has overall responsibility for the city's public spaces and combined accessibility. We work to create accessible, attractive and vibrant urban environments and natural areas. The Administration owns and manages the tram network in Gothenburg. Approximately 900 people work at the Administration. The Urban Environment Administration is part of the city development administrations in Gothenburg City. Job Duties As a project manager for water and waterfront development, you work with developing and coordinating issues related to the city's waterways, quays, and water-adjacent urban development. You contribute to creating long-term sustainable solutions that strengthen the city's attractiveness, accessibility, and business life. In the role, you collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and serve as support in matters concerning waterfront areas, establishments, management, and development of the city's water-adjacent environments. You also work to identify and enable future solutions in areas such as electrification, sustainable water transport, and other innovative development. You will be working in the Buildings and Lighting unit, which has 13 committed employees. Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least upper secondary education or other training and experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have at least ten years of experience working with the management and development of areas and structures in port environments, in private, municipal, or state operations. You also have good knowledge of public procurement regulations, general conditions of contract, and are experienced working in Excel and Word. To succeed in the role, you are organized, driven, and have a good overall perspective.
