Work Duties Ostlänken is a 160 km double-track railway between Södertälje and Linköping. You will work on the Vagnhärad project, which runs from the southern parts of Södertälje Municipality through all of Trosa Municipality down to Sillekrog. Your task is to lead a technical area within the contract, including management and monitoring of design/production, time and cost budgets, as well as meeting quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety requirements. Your responsibility as project manager for the Travel Center involves planning, managing, and monitoring design and later production, all in collaboration with contractors and technical experts. Depending on the project's schedule for design/execution, work duties and/or areas of responsibility may vary. You will be supervised by the project manager for overall production, who has overall responsibility for production in the Vagnhärad project within Ostlänken. The location is Södertälje. Travel occurs regularly along the entire stretch down to Linköping. As a project manager, you are self-driven but never alone! Work Duties - Serve as the client's project manager within the design/production sub-area - Participate in design and then lead the execution and monitoring of the Travel Center sub-project in Vagnhärad - Lead, manage, and monitor against budget, schedule, and scope within your assigned responsibility area - Report to the Project Manager for Overall Production regarding the sub-project's status - Ensure that permits, building permits, and similar approvals are sought and obtained - If necessary, participate in procurement work - Support the design with cost-saving innovations and verification of its constructability - Conduct technical monitoring, inspections, and final reports with relationship documentation and good coordination within and between phases/sub-projects - Attend internal and external meetings Qualifications Who Are You? We Are Seeking Someone Who - Has a university or college degree of at least 180 credits (120 credits) with a technical focus, or other education and experience that we deem equivalent - Has worked as a project manager or supervisory site manager - Has worked in one of the technical areas: rock tunnel/structural works/ground/railway/commercial real estate or road for at least 5 years - Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing - Has a driver's license for a car It Is Meriting If You - Have current knowledge in contract law in one or more of the areas AB/ABT/ABK and AMA - Have worked in a leading position within infrastructure projects - Have worked in collaborative procurement - Have worked in turnkey contracts Other Information Would you like a flexible workday with the option to work from home?
