Do you want to lead complex planning and permit matters in one of the Stockholm region's most important railway projects? As a project manager, you will have a central role in driving the railway planning for Mälarbanan forward. Work Tasks As a project manager, you are responsible for railway planning work on the Huvudsta-Duvbo section. You will also contribute your knowledge and experience to the work on the railway plan for the Duvbo-Spånga section and help ensure the progress of planning. You will coordinate the work on the railway plan and align the different competencies and interests involved. The role involves many contact points both internally within the Mälarbanan program and with Länsstyrelsen Stockholm and other external actors. Your work includes, among other things: - Plan, lead and follow up on the railway plan work - Coordinate the project's different technical areas and planning matters - Be responsible for contacts with Länsstyrelsen Stockholm and Trafikverket's plan review - Participate in municipalities' work with detailed plans that need to be developed - Participate in consultation meetings and information sessions - Handle and coordinate matters relating to, for example, water operations, building permits and other permits - Follow up on consultants' assignments, deliverables and finances Qualifications As a project manager, you need to be able to drive your work independently while creating structure and coordinating many different interests. You have good problem-solving skills, see the big picture and can analyze complex issues, prioritize between different needs and find solutions that move the work forward. The role involves many contacts with authorities, municipalities, consultants and internal specialist functions. Therefore, you need to be collaborative and able to communicate complex matters in a clear and audience-appropriate way. We are looking for someone who has: - University or college education of at least 180 credits in planning, landscape architecture or equivalent education - Several years of current and relevant experience as a project manager or assignment manager - Experience working with planning in multiple phases - Experience with complex infrastructure or urban development projects where multiple technical areas and stakeholders need to be coordinated - Experience working at the intersection of rail infrastructure and urban planning - Good knowledge of the Railway Construction Act, the Planning and Building Act and the Environmental Code - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written It is meriting if you have experience with: - Railway planning - Financial and delivery follow-up of consultant assignments - Water operations, building permits or other permit processes - Working in a larger, process-oriented organization Other Information The work location for this position is Sundbyberg.
