This includes planning, developing, and evaluating the capability required for society's electronic communication and postal services to function during disruptions, crises, and heightened readiness. Through close dialogue and appreciation, I build a team where everyone is motivated to contribute. About the Role As a project manager, you will have a central role in PTS exercise activities. You will lead, plan, and conduct both larger and smaller exercise projects. This can include the agency's own tabletop exercises, simulation exercises, and field exercises, as well as serving as a local exercise leader when PTS participates in exercises with other actors. You will work together with PTS exercise coordinators, who are responsible for developing and maintaining the agency's work with training and exercises in the preparedness area. Exercises are often conducted in cooperation with other units and departments within PTS as well as with external actors. This can be, for example, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, civil sectors, the National Cybersecurity Center, other sector-responsible authorities, the Swedish Armed Forces, or private actors. NATO's regulations and working methods are also an important part of PTS preparedness work. The role also includes contributing to and sometimes leading other assignments and projects within the preparedness area. This can include, for example, government assignments, project evaluations, or follow-up on capability development work. You will have a broad coordination role where you represent PTS in contacts with companies, authorities, and organizations. The role also involves leading and following up on others' work and sometimes managing intensive periods where much needs to be accomplished before and during an exercise implementation. About You We are looking for someone who thrives in driving projects and exercises forward in a changing environment. You are organized and can independently plan, prioritize, and scope your work, while also being good at collaboration and coordinating different needs. You are confident in leading groups, managing large meetings, and can handle situations where different perspectives or needs need to be weighed against each other. You have the ability to remain calm and focus on what is most important even when workload is high and circumstances change. We are looking for someone who has: Relevant academic education or other education and work experience that PTS considers equivalent. Current work experience with exercise activities in the field of civil preparedness, civil or military defense. Current work experience in a leading role in larger projects or other activities. Very good skills in Swedish and English. It is also advantageous if you have: Good knowledge of, for example, market, actors, and services within electronic communication or digital infrastructure acquired through current work experience. Experience leading, or having participated in planning of practical exercises, such as a field exercise. Knowledge of or experience working with issues regarding civil obligations or personnel supply. Experience in risk and security work during exercise implementation. Our Offer We take life seriously.
