As a Project Lead - Procurement, you will combine operational procurement work with project coordination in a technical environment. About the Role As a Project Lead - Procurement, you will become an important part of the project organization where you support the main project manager in procurement-related aspects of complex submarine projects. You function as a sub-project manager for procurement and work closely with the procurement organization to ensure that activities, timelines, and material supply meet the project's needs. The role involves planning, coordinating, and following up on procurement-related activities as well as creating structure between the project organization and the procurement function. You will also work with operational follow-up of, for example, orders, deliveries, and material status to ensure that the project has the right conditions to move forward. You do not need to be an expert in procurement from the start, but you need to have an interest in understanding the process and the ability to quickly grasp new areas. The role suits you if you thrive combining project management and coordination with an operational approach. Examples of Work Tasks: Support the main project manager in procurement-related parts of the project Function as a sub-project manager for procurement and follow up on activities and timelines Coordinate information between project organization and procurement function Follow up on orders, deliveries, and material status Gather and structure materials related to procurement Participate in project meetings and report status within the procurement area About You To succeed in this role, you have post-secondary education in, for example, industrial economics, logistics, economics, project management, or another relevant field. You have at least one year of relevant work experience in, for example, project management, project coordination, procurement, logistics, material planning, supply chain, or similar. We would like to see that you have experience from a technical or manufacturing operation, but the most important thing is that you are driven, communicative, and have good oversight of both details and the bigger picture. You thrive working in a structured way, creating clarity, and driving activities forward in a project environment.
