As a Project Manager at the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), you are part of making everyday life easier for residents and businesses across Sweden. You do this by contributing to Sweden's future infrastructure. Job Responsibilities The Lundbyleden project is a collaboration project with the City of Gothenburg that enables development around Backaplan and Brunnsbo. Production is managed by four contracts and is planned to be completed by 2030. The client organization consists of a highly skilled team that, together with contractors and designers, will ensure the project is executed successfully. We are now looking for an engaged and collaboration-oriented contractor manager who will become an important part of our team and lead one of the four contracts in the exciting Lundbyleden project. In this role, you are responsible for leading and driving a contract that has been procured as a performance contract, with an expected turnover close to one billion SEK. You will work closely with the contractor and create a strong and functional partnership through sound business practices and proactive leadership. Your responsibilities: lead and follow up on the contractor's execution within time, cost, and scope parameters ensure that project goals are met and finances remain within budget contribute your experience and expertise to the overall project and support the team in various aspects of execution actively promote efficient and good cooperation between all parties when needed, participate in internal training to further develop yourself in your role Qualifications Your leadership is characterized by building trust, clarifying direction, and delivering results. You have the ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically, both with colleagues and external stakeholders. Through clear communication about expectations and goals, you delegate and follow up. You inspire, create involvement, and drive development. We are looking for someone who challenges and questions, and who creates a culture that promotes continuous improvement and sees cooperation as a prerequisite. You are proactive, structured, and quality-conscious in your commitments. Your analytical ability is important—you can see the big picture and connections in complex issues, often with conflicting interests, with an ability to break down and resolve these issues. You are motivated by active employee participation where you take responsibility for your work in a purposeful manner while being aware of how you are part of and contribute to the whole by collaborating with others. We are looking for someone who has higher education with a technical focus, minimum 180 credits (120 credits), or other education that we together with experience from the construction and civil engineering industry consider equivalent several years of current and relevant professional experience from a role such as project management, construction management, site manager, work supervisor in road/rail, or another role that we can assess as equivalent current and relevant experience from several contracts, with at least one from a major contract experience in coordinating and monitoring contract work, reviewing and preparing schedules and cost distribution over time some negotiation experience experience leading ongoing contract work and setting requirements for quality and execution good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written driver's license for a passenger car It is meritorious if you have documented training in Contract Law, Employer's Responsibility for Work Environment, Bas P/U, Measurement and Compensation Rules (MER), and/or Work on Road Additional Information The work location is Gothenburg.
