Responsibilities
As a project manager with us at Investment, your leadership is characterized by building trust, delivering results, and driving development. Through clear communication about expectations and goals, you coordinate teams and become a point of reference for others.
With us, you will drive railway projects toward set goals and steer progress with focus on schedule, cost, and scope. As a project manager with us, you will have the opportunity to lead a project team consisting of various project management functions, technical specialists, contracted consultants, and contractors. You are responsible for the overall leadership, management, and follow-up of projects through all phases; design, production, handover, and ensuring these are followed and adapted according to the assignment. Furthermore, you ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, requirements, and internal work instructions. You contribute motivation and inspiration to your project team to create a good work environment.
The unit you will be part of is one of the region's two railway units and has employees in both Kristianstad and Växjö. The unit consists of project managers, project engineers, and construction managers. We project manage railway plans, construction documents, and contracts. These are mixed measures such as track and switch replacements, passing tracks, capacity and speed-increasing measures, and remediation projects. In the role, you will have contact with the public as well as with municipalities and other authorities. We are looking for you who
have a university or college degree of at least 180 credits (120 points) with a technical focus, or other education combined with equivalent competence acquired through experience in the construction industry
have at least one year of current and relevant work experience as a project manager, site manager, assignment manager, or other similar leadership role in construction projects within railway and/or road projects
have current and relevant experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring
have knowledge of and worked with any of: AB, ABT, ABK, or AMA
have very good command of Swedish in speech
have very good command of Swedish in writing
have a driver's license for passenger cars
It is a merit if you
have held a leadership role in construction projects within railways
have experience from project work in government operations

Work locations are Kristianstad or Växjö. Do you want a flexible work day with the opportunity to work from home? In this role, you have the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week. #LI-Hybrid
