About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will work in our major service contracts within distribution networks with maintenance of overhead and underground cable networks at various voltage levels.
In the role of Project Manager, you are expected to create good conditions for the technicians in the field and drive the work forward with focus on safety, quality and commitment. You contribute to the development of the business and strengthen cooperation with customers and suppliers. Safety always comes first at Vattenfall Services and together we create Sweden's safest workplace!
You work mainly from the office but are also on site. The work is independent but at the same time requires a strong focus on collaboration and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Some of your main responsibilities:
Responsible for business planning and project implementation through work management and coordination.
Inform and report on project status to the client.
Responsible for the financial outcome of the projects/assignments and manage completion and financial follow-up.
Participate in construction meetings and negotiations with the client.
Risk management
Contribute actively to creating Sweden's safest workplace together.
Travel is a natural part of the work as a Project Manager. Projects within the service agreements require shorter day trips within the nearest geographical area.
Job Requirements
As a Project Manager with us, you will be the technicians' primary contact for the work performed in the field. Leadership is a big part of everyday life and therefore we are looking for someone with a problem-solving and coaching approach.
Beyond leadership, a large part of the work is being able to independently drive the projects forward. We are therefore looking for you who wants to take responsibility and who has great commitment to your assignments. You are motivated by offering service and quality to your colleagues and customers, you act commercially with good entrepreneurship and you would never let profitability take precedence over safety. At Vattenfall Services, safety always comes first!
We know that you will develop together with us. But we would like to see that you already have:
Completed upper secondary education or higher, preferably in electrical power, technology, economics or other relevant field.
Work experience in work management or project management.
Work experience in the electrical power sector or general electrical knowledge is advantageous but not required.
Experience from the contracting industry is advantageous.
Computer skills (Office package) and experience with process-driven work in case management systems.
Class B driving license, as day trips occur in the role.
Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written. English is advantageous.
