About the Role
As Project Manager, Apartments, you are responsible for coordinating and driving renovation projects in our properties, primarily in Skåne. Each year we renovate a large number of apartments in connection with tenant moves, where both partial and complete renovations are carried out according to Heimstaden's concept. In this role, you will have the opportunity to follow projects from start to finish and ensure that work is completed with high quality, good economics, and professional collaboration among all parties involved.
You work closely with both property management, rental negotiators, and contractors and play an important role in creating structure, momentum, and quality throughout the entire process. The work includes, among other things, preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, procurement, and drafting contracts. You monitor contractors during implementation, conduct inspections, and ensure ongoing financial follow-up, including management of change order work. If needed, you will also manage smaller projects.
Requirements
To take on the role of Project Manager, Apartments, you have experience from the construction or real estate industry, either through post-secondary education or at least two years of relevant work experience, as well as upper secondary education as a foundation. You have a good understanding of project processes, and we would appreciate it if you have knowledge of construction law and building regulations.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have good skills in the Office package. If you have experience with accounting systems and property management systems, preferably Vitec, this is a merit. A B-category driver's license is a requirement, and access to your own vehicle is preferred.
To thrive in the role, you need to be organized, thorough, and have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work, even when the pace is high. At the same time, you are flexible and adapt easily when circumstances change. You take responsibility for your tasks, drive the work forward, and have a natural ability to build trusting relationships with both colleagues and contractors and other partners. We also appreciate a positive attitude, humility, and a good sense of humor.

The Team You Will Join
You will become part of a national team consisting of engaged colleagues within project management and surveying. Your immediate manager is based in Norrköping, and you also report to the department manager who is based at our headquarters in Malmö.
The team is geographically distributed across the country but works closely together and enjoys sharing knowledge and experience to achieve good results together and reach our common goals.
