We are now strengthening our IT and digitalization function with three new employees, including one IT and Digitalization Project Manager, to meet the current need for user-centered and customer-friendly solutions. With us, you will be one of five members of the IT and Digitalization function, led by a responsible team leader. As an IT and Digitalization Project Manager, you will help us successfully implement and complete system implementations and other digital development projects. You will work closely with digitalization business developers, IT architects, IT administration managers and IT technicians. The IT and Digitalization function is part of one of six teams in the Business Support department, together with business development, communication, and environment and sustainability. All employees in the cross-functional team are self-sufficient specialists and independently lead work within their areas of expertise. Job Responsibilities As an IT and Digitalization Project Manager, you are responsible for leading and coordinating IT and digitalization projects such as system implementations and service development throughout the project – from investigation and feasibility study to implementation and handover to operations. You drive work on needs, requirements and prioritization together with the business. You lead the project organization and report continuously to the steering committee and project owner. You ensure that activities and tests are carried out in the correct sequence and that dependencies, risks and deliverables are managed structurally. You follow up on the project's deliverables, quality and goal fulfillment. You coordinate all perspectives of the business, with extra focus on customer focus as well as GDPR and information security. In this role, you will build and develop close collaborations with the business, IT, customers and suppliers to create successful implementations and sustainable solutions. You support and contribute to change management, with new roles and ways of working. An important focus of the work is to ensure that the project's deliverables are based on customer needs and contribute to high user value and customer satisfaction. Gothenburg City Leasing is facing several system implementations. A first project will likely be leading work on Gothenburg City's new leasing system. We believe that you are an experienced project manager with experience leading development projects with many stakeholders. You feel comfortable making decisions, managing conflicting goals and navigating an organization with multiple business areas. You can analyze complex issues, identify risks and find sustainable solutions. You enjoy the intersection between people and technology and have the ability to balance business, technical and economic perspectives in your decisions. You are pedagogical, have strong collaboration skills and quickly adapt to different work groups and situations. You are confident, unpretentious and independent in the project manager role. Qualifications To apply for the position, you must have: University degree in IT, systems science, business development or equivalent. Several years of experience in project management (+selection question with number of years).
