JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking an engaged and experienced project manager to lead the implementation of an electronic health record system for our operating room operations. The implementation is not a completely new system but a major upgrade of our current operating module. The assignment is strategically important and aims to create efficient, secure, and user-friendly digital workflows that support clinical processes. As project manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating the implementation of the electronic health record system from preparation through go-live and handover to operations. You work closely with business representatives, IT specialists, system vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are achieved. Your responsibilities include: • Lead and coordinate project activities, resources, and deliverables. • Ensure the project is executed according to the established timeline, budget, and quality requirements. • Collaborate with the business to analyze needs and translate them into solutions in the new system. • Coordinate and monitor vendor work and deliverables. • Plan and lead implementation activities such as testing, training, communication initiatives, and go-live. • Manage risks, dependencies, and change issues within the project. • Report project status, finances, and progress to steering committee and project management. • Contribute to the development of working methods and processes related to digitalization in healthcare. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with strong drive, excellent leadership ability, and experience leading complex IT projects in close collaboration with the business. We want you to have: • Relevant university education in IT, systems science, informatics, or another field that the employer deems equivalent. • Several years of experience in project management within IT and system implementations. • Documented experience leading complex projects with many stakeholders. • Good knowledge of project methodology and change management. • Ability to communicate clearly and create engagement with both business and technical resources. • Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have: • Experience with implementation or management of electronic health record systems or other mission-critical systems within healthcare. • Knowledge of healthcare processes, particularly within operating room operations. • Certification in project management, such as PPS, PMP, or PRINCE2. • Experience in change management and business development related to digitalization. • Experience working in larger organizations or the public sector. You have excellent ability to build relationships, create trust, and drive work forward even in complex environments with rapid change. Employment type: Fixed-term contract.
