Business Area (VO) Base Projects is responsible for Region Skåne's renovations and extensions and manages approximately 600 projects annually with project budgets ranging from approximately one million to one billion kronor throughout Skåne. VO Base Projects is now seeking driven, structured, and competent installation project managers with a focus on HVAC to strengthen our Project Management Units in Lund and Malmö. As project manager, you have overall responsibility for the project regarding time, quality, and budget. You initiate, drive, and structure your own work tasks. Region Skåne's properties are technology-intensive, so it requires that you have a good understanding of technically complex buildings. You conduct cost estimates, feasibility studies, and investigations, and procure consultants and lead their work in developing tender documentation. Furthermore, you procure the contract and are responsible for monitoring the contract until approved final inspection and are responsible for handover to Region Skåne's operations organization. In your role, you are responsible for and take ownership of the installation project's overall progress, ensure resources and the project's scope so that the right time, quality, and budget are maintained. You are responsible for ensuring that all laws, regulations, and governing guidelines are followed in the construction project in accordance with Region Skåne's Building Process, and that Region Skåne's procurement rules according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU) are followed. As project manager, you are a key person in contact with the healthcare operations conducted in the spaces where the renovation will take place. Since healthcare operations often take place throughout much of and/or around the clock, it is important that you in close cooperation with the operations plan how the renovation can best be carried out. Business travel occurs within parts of Skåne. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has an engineering degree in HVAC or other education that the employer deems equivalent, or that you have equivalent competence acquired through several years of professional experience. You have good knowledge and experience of technical installations within the HVAC profession, as well as a good understanding of the building's technical systems and installations. We see that you have good knowledge and experience leading complex renovation or new construction projects. Good computer skills are a necessity in the role, and it is required that you have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. We would like to see that you have good knowledge of AB, ABT, ABK, work with preparing administrative regulations and procurement of consultants and contractors. A B-class driver's license is required as there is some travel within Skåne. If you additionally have experience with procurement according to LOU, that is a merit. Similarly, if you have experience with project management and production management. As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. In your work, you are self-driven and structured, which means you plan work in advance, organize and prioritize activities efficiently, and establish and maintain schedules. Other important qualities are that you are flexible, bring ideas, and are interested in developing our work methods. To achieve success in the work, we see that you are communicative and relationship-building both within and outside your own organization. We place great importance on personal suitability.
